Polishing your floors with Quick Shine^® Multi-Surface Floor Finish or Hardwood Floor Luster helps protect and restore their appearance. Follow these steps for the best results:

• Start with a Clean Surface Always begin by cleaning your floors with a Quick Shine^® Safer Choice Cleaner and letting them dry completely. This ensures the finish adheres evenly without trapping dirt.
• Apply in Thin, Even Layers Using a damp microfiber pad or the Quick Shine^® Multi-Action Mop Kit, apply a thin coat of finish. Work in the direction of the wood grain or natural floor pattern.
• Work in Sections Apply finish in small, manageable areas. Overlap slightly as you go to prevent missed spots and to maintain a consistent shine.
• Allow to Dry Let the finish dry for 45-60 minutes before walking on it. For higher gloss or added protection, apply additional coats, allowing each layer to dry fully before the next.
• Maintain and Refresh For ongoing protection, reapply finish every 2–4 months (or as needed in high-traffic areas). Between applications, clean floors regularly to extend the life of the finish.
• Use Floor Protectors Place felt pads under furniture legs and use entry mats to minimize scratching and wear. This helps preserve the protective layer of finish.
