Stone and tile flooring is often used in humid climates because it’s resistant to the degradation properties of water. It may seem indestructible, but did you know harsh cleaning chemicals can damage its sealant layer? Bring a deep, rich gloss to your stone and tile floors to maintain and enhance the surface and grout with Quick Shine®’s Safer Choice label products:
01
Vacuum and dry mop to remove dust & debris.
Always vacuum and dust before cleaning your floors! Make sure your vacuum doesn’t have the brush roll on, then dry mop to pick up anything missed.
03
Maintain to avoid scrubbing.
Because stone and tile are moisture-resistant, they are often used in bathrooms. Keep a handheld vacuum nearby to quickly sweep any buildup on your bathroom rugs, damp mop with plain tap water every few days to keep your stone & tile looking fresh, and always clean spills immediately!
04
Refresh the shine every few months.
Whenever your stone & tile needs a lift (typically every few months), use Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish—a water-borne polymer formulated with an adhesion component. This means it adheres to surfaces such as marble, ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, terrazzo, and others.
Remember: Always clean the floor before applying the finish!
If you plan to use Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish, do not clean the floor with oil soap, pine oil, orange oil, ammonia, vinegar, or any other all-purpose cleaner. These cleaners can leave an oily residue or detergent haze that interferes with the bonding process of Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish.
Make sure you follow instructions that come from the manufacturer or seller of your flooring materials, and spot-test in a hidden area if you are unsure whether a Quick Shine® product is right for your floor.
