Is Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish a wax?

Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish is actually a water-borne polymer formula, not a wax. It protects floors and gives a rich, deep glow to sealed hardwood floors, wood laminate, stone, tile, vinyl, and all other sealed hard surface flooring. Unlike wax products, Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish is much easier to apply, maintain and touch up, while never yellowing and being slip resistant.

Is Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish a cleaner?

Can Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish be removed from my floor?

If Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish has not been properly maintained or applied, it can be removed with our Quick Shine® Deep Cleaner. This Deep Cleaner will not harm hardwood floors or other types of hard surface floors such as luxury vinyl plank, tile, stone, marble and laminate. Simply dilute the Deep Cleaner in hot water and apply to the floor surface. Let stand for a few minutes, then scrub lightly. Do small sections of the floor at a time. Then remove debris and build-up from the floor with a clear water rinse.

Should I use ammonia or vinegar to clean my floors? What about all-purpose cleaners, oil soap, or orange oil?

Though ammonia and vinegar solutions can clean some household surfaces, using them on hard surface floors will make your floors less shiny over time. If you plan to use Quick Shine® Multi Surface Floor Finish, do not clean the floor with oil soap, pine oil, orange oil, ammonia, vinegar, or any other all-purpose cleaner. These cleaners can leave an oily residue or detergent haze that interferes with the bonding process of Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish.

For light cleaning, clean your floor with our Quick Shine® Mop Pad dampened with tap water. For heavier soil, use the mop pad with our Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner or Quick Shine® Deep Cleaner.

Can the Quick Shine® Hard Surface Floor Mop Kit be used as a dry mop?

Can I squirt Quick Shine® Multi-Surface Floor Finish or Quick Shine® Hardwood Floor Luster on the entire floor and then go back and spread it out?

We do not recommend squirting our Finishes on the entire floor before spreading out with a mop as our Finishes will begin forming a protective layer the moment it is applied to the floor. It is best to work in small, 5’x5’ sections and squirt and spread with a lightly dampened microfiber mop or sponge mop. Working towards the exit of the room will allow you to step out of the room and remain off of the floor as it dries.

If Quick Shine® Finishes accidentally leave marks on my cabinets, countertops or appliances, can they be removed easily?
