The Absolute Most Simple Way To Clean & Maintain Luxury Vinyl Plank Floors

Luxury Vinyl Plank is the latest trend in flooring. It offers the look of real hardwood and the durability to withstand a house full of wild animals. So one question we often get asked is “Can I use Quick Shine on my new LVT floors?” The answer…

Absolutely! Our Quick Shine Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner is pH neutral and the gentlest cleaner. It will not leave behind a dulling residue on your floor like vinegar or other cleaners with lots of surfactants. To make cleaning even easier, this formula does not require a mop and bucket, and no rinsing is necessary. Just squirt and spread with a damp microfiber mop or sponge mop. You can use it in Spray Mops too! An instant clean for truly gratifying results.

If you are interested in providing a higher gloss to your floors because you miss a little sheen that you will not find with the typical matte finish found on New Luxury Vinyl flooring, reach for our Quick Shine Multi-Surface Floor Finish. Another ready-to-use formula you simply squirt and spread for a deep, rich shine.

These two products are also free from toxic chemicals such as Ammonia, Aluminum, Formaldehyde, Alcohol, and Paraben so you don’t have to stress about cleaning with children or pets in the home. We proudly wear the Safer Choice label on our Finishes and Cleaners so you can choose the right products in stores.

The quick shine does not work on my luxury vinyl flooring. It looks shiny and beautiful until my dogs leave scratch marks from running around the house. Very disappointed

Same thing happened to me I followed all directions and I can see every streak, every spot where I left off, dog scratches everywhere and I’ve spent 9 days now trying to even it out and it gets worse. The floor cleaner made no difference. I’m afraid to try the deep clean. 2300 square feet. $25,000 , Brand new and I’m about to carpet over it.

I applied Quick Shine to my new vinyl floors. The shine looks great, but I am having trouble with spots appearing that I cannot remove. I have applied more Quick shine, but it seems to not effect the spots. Hope I do not need to remove the application.

      Hi Kathy,
You can spot treat the affected area with ammonia and water. Apply solution and let sit 1-2 minutes before wiping away. Once the area is clean and dry, simply reapply the finish to blend and even out the appearance of the floor.
